Battle of the Buffalo is a premier philanthropic chicken wing festival held in Downtown Huntsville. Now in its 16th year, the festival features local restaurants and amateur cooks competing to be crowned the best wings in the Tennessee Valley. Last year’s event brought together over 8,000 community members, served more than 11,000 pounds of wings, and raised $78,000 for the Russel Hill Cancer Foundation and $34,000 for the HudsonAlpha Foundation. The Crawfish Festival is back in 2025, bringing thousands of pounds of fresh Louisiana crawfish to MidCity District for a day of music, food, and fun. A portion of the proceeds from the festival will benefit Kids to Love, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports foster children and helps meet their immediate needs.
